Description

2017 was a real mixed bag, but looking back I improved a lot in art.

January - literally just a painting and a shortlived character design challenge. focused on color

February - the Month of the Battlecats, in which I just drew a ton of my warrior cats ocs and a couple more detailed pieces

March - just this. i rarely draw cityscapes, so i still really enjoy this picture even though its a tad old. i like the colors a lot, and ofc i love dancing cheeto cats

April - did a comic test that was a ton of fun, then a bunch of mystiverse

May - finished mystiverse ep 2!! heck yeah!

June - a post-mystiverse art high in which i drew a few full pieces that i still really enjoy. also bringing in humans, which i worked on a lot this year. this was for sure my peak month this year, artwise (though may was super great)

July - read a bunch of sam's stuff and drew some fanart, and this is my favorite. I also joined noct, which was a huge challenge but helped me a lot

August - nuzlocke kick! oof but also the most recent page was posted in august im so sorry ahdjka

September - mostly memes and design commissions, but i also did this for noct. honestly could've done better, but it was a really good challenge and i think the lighting is pretty cool

October - Inktober! i learned a lot even though i didnt finish

November - actually nothing was posted here, but i think i did some nuzlocke, storyboarded mystiverse, and sketched a lot of the bmc!grind au which i posted in early december

December - bringing it back with a couple full pieces! i'm really proud of how i ended the year, even though as a whole i didnt draw as much as i usually do.

hopefully next year i will be able to produce more content, but honestly im very happy with this year's art
